Joss Whedon Making A Feature Film With Eliza Dushku?

Dollhouse's Eliza Dushku might be going back to Joss Whedon's laboratory of evil soon — she told an interviewer the duo aim to make a movie together. And she also still hopes to be in Ghostbusters 3.

Talking to HollywoodLife.com, Dushku says that she's definitely up for being one of the five new Ghostbusters who are rumored to pick up the torch from Venkman and company in the new movie. And she says her pal Dan Aykroyd wants her in the film. But she adds: "I don't know anything, I don't have a script – it's still a rumor thing right now."

Meanwhile, though, she sounds more sanguine about this mystery film project with her Dollhouse collaborator, Whedon:

"I would say that we would [be working on something new very soon]!" she confided to us. "I think we're going to work on a kickass feature together that we've been thinking about for a few years."

Note, of course, that the part where she says they'll be working on something together soon is in square brackets, meaning it's a paraphrase. (Maybe the interviewer asked "Will you work with Joss Whedon again soon?" And she replied with the part not in brackets. That's my guess, anyway.)

So what's this mystery project? Over on Whedonesque, they're speculating it could be Goners, the horror-action film that Whedon has been talking up for years, but about which we've heard nothing in recent years. Here's hoping we get more Joss and Eliza, one way or another.

Dushku, Kidder to appear at Toronto comic con

The 2010 Wizard World Comic Con tour is set to debut in Toronto next month.

New York-based Wizard Entertainment says the roving pop-culture convention will come to the city March 26.

It will then move on to several cities in the U.S., including Anaheim, Philadelphia, Chicago and New York.

The Toronto event at the Direct Energy Centre will mark the Canadian debut of the annual show.

Guests on the docket include “Dollhouse” star Eliza Dushku, “Ghostbusters” star Ernie Hudson, Margot Kidder of “Superman“ fame, and wrestlers George (The Animal) Steele and The Iron Sheik.

Toronto is already host to another big, annual pop-culture convention — Fan Expo, which launched in 1995.

The top pop-culture convention in North America is said to be Comic-Con International: San Diego, followed by Comic Con New York.

Eliza Dushku reveals feisty streak

Eliza Dushku has revealed she has "schizophrenic personalities" like her Dollhouse character, Echo.

The US actress plays 'doll' Echo in the sci-fi TV series, a part written specially for her by Buffy The Vampire Slayer creator Joss Whedon.

"Considering that Joss sort of created the show around me and my schizophrenic personalities, I think there are a lot of parallels," she said.

"I'm a Type A control freak so when someone's trying to call me something or fit me into a square hole, I get a little feisty sometimes. There are pieces of me and there are pieces of everyone."

Eliza, who co-produces Dollhouse, reckons Joss - who she worked with on Buffy - is a dream to work with, because he writes strong female roles.

"He obviously empowers women but he also empowers everyone," she said. "When you look at his ensemble shows, whether it was focusing around Buffy or focusing on Echo, there is an unbelievable cast around both of those characters."

The 29-year-old is thrilled with the strong fanbase the show has.

"It's always flattering to have fans. I enjoy it," she said.

"I think the flipside about fans can be the intense scrutiny and sometimes I'm not very good at being scrutinised!"
