Courtesy of USA Today, we now have a release date for Eliza’s new video game, WET — September 15, 2009. The article is posted below.

Bethesda Softworks high-style action game WET is arriving on store shelves for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on September 15, the publisher announced in a statement.

The third-person shooter features Rubi Malone, a “gun-for-hire” voiced by actress Eliza Dushku, who is betrayed by a mysterious wealthy man while completing a job. The combat mixes third-person gunplay, swordfighting and acrobatic moves such as flips and wall-running.

“We’ve worked really hard to make WET different from any other action game available”, says Patrick Fortier, Creative Director at developer A2M, in a statement.

WET will join games such as The Beatles: Rock Band, Need For Speed: Shift and Halo 3: ODST in the September release schedule.

Thanks to CU, I’ve been able to add the FHM (UK) scans already, and yes, Eliza is on the cover as previously thought! The photoshoot looks to have been possibly shot on the same day as the Maxim shoot, back in March, but it’s a completely different set altogether so the shoot is brand new, and it is absolutely stunning!! The pages do seem to be out of order, but not to worry, as I shall be scanning my own copy once I buy it on the weekend. Gallery link & previews are below, enjoy!

Thanks to Comic-Con, we have confirmation of guest stars for the new season of Dollhouse — and I’m freaking excited about this!

Alexis Denisof (Wesley in Angel & Buffy) – confirmed by Joss Whedon.

Amy Acker (Dr Claire Saunders) – confirmed to be returning for 3 episodes by Joss Whedon.

Summer Glau (Cameron in T:TSCC & River in Firefly) – not fully confirmed as still working out the kinks but looking hopeful!

Jamie Bamber (Apollo in BSG) – confirmed by Ausiello via Twitter; he’ll be starring in the season 2 premiere, along with Felicia Day.

As previously reported there are a host of deleted scenes (23 in all) on the Dollhouse season 1 DVD release — and it looks like Eliza is in several of those scenes, as the material was rated by the BBCF (UK 12) and so a list is available to peruse, although if you haven’t yet seen the full season of Dollhouse then be aware of spoilers in the scene descriptions!
