On the Set of ‘Dollhouse’
Earlier this month Access Hollywood visited the set of Dollhouse and you can view the video online in 3 parts -- Part 1 (a look at the set and how massive it is); Part 2 (a discussion of the concept and the Friday night time slot); Part 3 (they talk about the production shutdown, the creative side of the show, and Eliza shows off her bruises.)
E! Online's Kristin also got a chance to interview Eliza & Joss on the set of Dollhouse and you can view the video online. I have added captures of both interviews to the gallery; links are below and previews are to your right, enjoy!

On the Cover of SciFiNow!
And how's this for a birthday present? -- Eliza is featured on the cover of SciFiNow magazine (issue 23) and it features an additional unseen promo pic! I have the magazine, I picked it up when I was browsing the bookstore so I came across it by chance.
The issue also features an interview with Eliza; SFX is largely an interview with Joss, so it was nice to read.
Unfortunately, the official website hasn't yet been updated so I can't preview the cover but I shall scan the mag (and SFX!) on the weekend, so be sure to check back for those.
EDIT: (Jan 7.) The official website has been updated with the new issue; a preview of the cover is to your right.
Happy Holidays!
Eliza Fan will likely not be updated until late December/early January -- unless there is major news to post. I won't be coming online much and will be unable to reply to any emails or approve comments until then. But stay tuned! I shall be writing up an 'end of year' post sometime in the next few weeks.
Happy holidays, Merry Christmas, and a fabulous New Year 2009 to all of our visitors! I really love working on this site and appreciate your support a lot. And of course, I'm looking forward to covering Dollhouse in 2009!
Spike Video Game Awards Captures
I was finally able to download the video of Eliza presenting Kiefer's award and so have made MQ screencaptures; as well as captures of the nominee presentation. Gallery links and previews are below, enjoy!

Pre-order ‘Bottle Shock’
As well as The Alphabet Killer, you can also pre-order the Region 1 DVD of Bottle Shock at Amazon -- it is available for $19.99 and will be released on February 3, 2009.
According to the official website, DVD extras include: 4 deleted scenes; the making of; audio commentary with cast & crew; and a feature about the chateau it was filmed in.
Again, no word on the Region 2 release, but hopefully it won't be too far behind!
Exclusive ‘Dollhouse’ Clip
There is an exclusive clip from Dollhouse at EW.com -- click on the link to view the clip -- and I second Ausiello's words!
I know we said we weren't exchanging this year, but I saw this exclusive Dollhouse clip while out shopping this weekend and, well, I just had to get it for you guys.
The set-up: The following scene from the Feb. 13 premiere is the first time we see Echo (Eliza Dushku) wake up after having her memories wiped in the special memory-flushing chair. That leads into a discussion between lab tech Topher (Fran Kranz) and Echo’s handler Boyd (Harry Lennix) about her last "date," delving into just what being a doll/active means.
Long story short: Coolest. Stocking. Stuffer. Ever.
New Version
Welcome to the new version of Eliza Fan! I hope you like this new look as much as I do; easier on the eyes and a wonderful relaxing blue/green.
I haven't been able to finish writing up the new pages (in particular, the filmography section) but the current pages have been updated, and I'm sure you'll appreciate the extensive content and information now available at your fingertips!
Be sure to have a look around, enjoy your stay here, and don't hesitate to leave a comment on your way out.
